UGC to help M.Phil, Ph.D, NET holders to get job

New Delhi:  If you are Ph.D, M.Phil holders or have cracked National Eligibility Test but still facing obstacles in getting jobs then don’t worry as the University Grants Commission has set up a new web portal providing for best teaching jobs.
The UGC has set up an academic employment portal for better coordination among the able faculties and universities and colleges.
In near future, NET qualifiers and Ph.D, M.Phil holders’ profile with their ranks will be available on the website.
The details of subject wise vacancies in UGC affiliated Universities and colleges will also be made available. With the help of it, the students can easily get the information related to vacancies in colleges and universities across the country.
Moreover, college administration can also check the authenticity of candidate’s educational records on the website.  On the behalf of college and university, any authorized officer can log on the website.
According to Prof. Vedprakash, acting chairman, UGC, the portal will serve the purposes of both colleges and candidates. NET, Ph.D qualifiers could directly get the information about the vacancies in different colleges and on the other hand, universities could also go through the profiles of candidates of their choice on the same website.
The UGC has directed the vice-chancellors and directors of all the central, state and deemed universities to provide the details of seats available in their faculties.
