Kaithal: The series of rape cases in Haryana refuses to end as yet again two more rape cases have surfaced in the state after Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi’s Tuesday visit.  In the fresh incidences, a dalit girl and a woman were raped.
At the time when Sonia Gandhi was visiting Jind on Tuesday to console the family of a dalit rape victim, who later immolated herself after gang rape, another dalit girl was being raped in Kaithal where a dalit girl was allegedly raped by two youths. Later they dumped the victim in unconscious state and fled from there. However, both the accused were arrested by the police.

According to the victim’s father, the girl went out for conveniences on Tuesday morning but when she did not return home after a couple of hours, the family members filed a missing complaint in the local police station.
Another girl working as a domestic help, was criminally assaulted in Faridabad district.
  
The 20-year-old victim alleged that she was raped by her master at his Sector 21(A) residence last night when she was about to leave after wrapping up household works, Police said.
  
The victim was hired through a Delhi-based placement agency which reported the case to the police. She was sent for medical examination which confirmed rape.
  
A case of rape has been lodged against the accused. Meanwhile, the police have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding accused.
  
With this, the total number of rape cases in the state within a month has gone up to 15.

Mumbai: Busting a sex racket, Police have arrested 340 girls from a posh colony of south Mumbai. The raid was conducted on Thursday evening in the Simplex building situated at Grant Road.
Police had received a tip-off that the building was being used for prostitution. Three hundred and fourty girls including 134 men were detained in the raid that began at about 8.30 pm.
According to sources most of the girls arrested speak Bengali and therefore are expected to belong from West Bengal or are Bangladeshi migrants. Surprising all this was taking place despite the police station being close to the building where the sex racket was being run. This has certainly raised fingers on the police as well

New Delhi: One of the robbers allegedly involved in the sensational Rs 5.25 crore bank van heist in south Delhi and his wife were arrested from Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.

Hari Kishan and his wife Rashmi were apprehended from Banda, a senior police official said. With this seven persons have been arrested in connection with the last Friday's robbery.

Some cash has been recovered from them, the official said. The gang had waylaid the cash van, pinned down a security guard and shot him after he tried to snatch their weapons. They fled the spot in the cash van leaving behind the car in which they were following the vehicle. The guard later succumbed to bullet wound.

It was a raid at Harkishen's house in Khirki that helped police in its trail. The key of the looted cash van was recovered in his house.

Harkishen is the second person, who was allegedly involved in the actual robbery, to be arrested. One Deepak Sharma, who was with Kishan and others, was arrested earlier.

Two youths, who were allegedly involved in the planning were also arrested besides two relatives of a suspected robber who helped them in hiding a portion of the money.

Investigators have found out that four youths were spotted by some locals in Khirki with big boxes on Friday. A portrait of one of the suspects was sketched with their help.

From their description, police managed to get photographs of two criminals, which the eye-witnesses confirmed as those they saw robbing the van.

Several teams covered Hauz Rani and Khirki, and verified recently evicted tenants besides checking other details with property dealers.

Police on last Saturday managed to identify the house which was believed to have been used by the suspects. It belonged to Hari Kishan who had shifted recently and purchased it in his wife's name.

Raids were conducted at this house and from there, police managed to recover the keys of the cash van, which was abandoned by the gang. Some other documents were also seized from the spot which indicated that the suspects had visited and stayed there, the official said

New Delhi: Nupur Talwar an accused in the mysterious double murder case of her own daughter Aarushi and servant Hemraj, will be released from jail today after five months.

The Supreme Court accepted Nupur’s bail plea on September 17 and ordered to release her on September 25. Nupur is likely to be released from the jail today if she is able to fulfill all the required formalities of the Family Trail Court.

Meanwhile, Nupur in prison sincerely followed the jail manuals and also helped the other female inmates.

Nupur also wants to come up with an “Arushi Care Center” in the jail premises and has approached the jail administration for the permission regarding this.

She had been writing a book on Arushi murder case in the jail which she would complete after being released today.

Nupur Talwar surrendered in Ghaziabad CBI court on July 30 after an order was issued by the Supreme Court. Since then, she is in Dasna Jail. The problems for Nupur are not yet over despite getting bail. She will have to prove her innocence in the court as the trail is still on.
