HTC launches dual-SIM Desire V in India



NEW DELHI: Less than a month after HTC launched its dual-SIM Desire V smartphone in the international market, the handset is now available in India on some retail websites.

The online retailer Flipkart is selling HTC Desire V dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone for Rs 21,999. Desire V comes packed with 1GHZ single-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4.0.


It also boasts of a 4-inch WVGA display and offers dual-SIM with dual standby. HTC's latest release, however, restricts the use of 3G to only one SIM. The alternate SIM offers GPRS support only. Desire V comes loaded with Beats Audio support apart from a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash.
